Family Violence Specialist

The Family Violence Support Service provides specialist assistance to adults, children and young people who have experienced family violence. This service focuses on ensuring the safety and well-being of victim survivors of family violence.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver expert services to individuals affected by family violence in accordance with best practice principles and collaborative frameworks.
- Develop and deliver programs that incorporate multi-level assessments and interventions addressing the needs of adults, children and young people impacted by family violence.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, carers and other staff and stakeholders to ensure high-quality client care.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of family violence and its impact on adults, children and young people.
- Ability to work effectively with complex clients and apply appropriate models of intervention.
- Exercise professional judgement, prioritise workload and maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, carers and other stakeholders.
