Beaumont People is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to join a well-known Catholic College in Lismore. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small IT team and driving change in the College's ICT landscape.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver effective ICT service and support to the College community and visitors.
- Manage all aspects of ICT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, data storage, and ICT facilities.
- Maintain oversight of the cyber security posture and ensure risks are proactively identified and mitigated.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the procurement of IT contracts and licenses.
- Lead staff training to ensure ongoing uptake of digital tools.
- Oversee ICT budget and monitor financial performance in collaboration with the director of Finance.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership when planning and/or delivering ICT projects.
- Develop and maintain system recovery plans, including backup processes and emergency response plans, in the event of a cyber attack or total loss of essential infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other College leaders when implementing the annual ICT operational plan and formulating the ICT strategic plan.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to the ICT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
- Demonstrated management of a productive and effective team (ideally 5+ years).
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality ICT service and management (Education experience advantageous).
- Experience in planning, managing, and prioritizing ICT duties, projects, and budgets.
- Excellent knowledge of cyber security best practice.
- Project management skills with a track record of successful implementation of ICT projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hold a current WWCC, or be willing to obtain.
