This role is focused on supporting the commercial strategy and planning process for assigned brands and categories.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analysis to enable the development and delivery of commercial strategies and plans, as well as customer category strategies in conjunction with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Generating insights to share with Commercial Strategy & Planning Managers and brand teams to input into the gate process and launch planning for NPD; including inspirational customer sell stories aligned with customer priorities and strategy.
  • Partnering with Sales Team to develop analysis and insights to create compelling range reviews and Joint Business Plans (JBP) to drive improvement for Opella brands in store.
  • Supporting macro diagnostics of performance in the trade and developing Commercial Strategies and Plans.
  • Coordinating Annual Sales Planning Process and delivering Commercial Plans.
About You
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in a business-related field.
Experience
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in FMCG Industry in a previous Category, Trade Marketing, Sales or Marketing role OR within a data insights organisation such as Nielsen etc.
  • Experience working with data sources such as IRI/Nielsen/IQVIA/Quantium/Circana preferred.
  • Experienced in creating insights across various data sets and visualising data/insights tailored to different audiences – skilled in storytelling.

  • Workload planning and task prioritisation/time management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team-orientated and cross-functional relationship management skills.
