About the Tutor Position

At Lindamood-Bell, we are seeking tutors who can deliver exceptional teaching and make a positive impact on students of all ages.

As a tutor at our learning centre, you will have the opportunity to provide one-to-one and/or small group instruction in-person or online, implementing specific lesson plans under the direction of leadership.

Tutor Expectations
  • You should be passionate about helping others reach their potential and possess excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills.
  • Implement positive-reinforcement strategies that maximise learning, in a cheerful and authentic manner.
  • You should possess basic computer skills and the ability to type notes about student performance while leading engaging sessions.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but an Associate's degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, or actively pursuing a degree is acceptable.
Tutor Responsibilities
  • Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Manage client records electronically using a computer.
