Business Valuations Consultant

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our global team, providing expert advice on preserving, optimising, raising or investing capital. You will work closely with clients, utilising your expertise in various contexts, including transactions, portfolio assessment and restructuring.

This is a hybrid position based in Sydney, offering flexibility with reduced hours. You will support clients regarding valuation matters, taking ownership of project delivery and managing reports. Your skills in critical thinking, problem-solving and communication will be essential in maintaining positive relationships with client personnel and EY project teams.

To be successful in this role, you will require a bachelor's degree and approximately 3 to 7 years of related work experience. A degree in finance, economics, accounting or business, with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis, is highly desirable. Experience in financial modelling, valuation techniques and methodologies, and conducting valuations for accounting and/or tax planning purposes is also required.

  • Work within small project teams to undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets.
  • Take ownership for delivery of projects within each team, managing and preparing valuation reports.
  • Think critically, identify issues and propose strategies related to the advice being provided.
