Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Director to lead our rural food production site into its next phase of growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring seamless production, compliance with regulations, and optimal performance. They will lead a passionate team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing budgets, and overseeing key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of site operations, including production, safety, logistics, and maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to WHS, food safety, and environmental standards.
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
  • Manage and develop a diverse team across multiple departments.
  • Monitor and control budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration among team members.
  • Serve as primary site liaison with head office and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in operations, production, or site management, preferably within FMCG, food manufacturing, or agriculture.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with ability to drive results-oriented teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with solid understanding of compliance, WHS, and quality standards.
  • Ability to drive operational improvements, manage change, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
