Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Symonston - Canberra Pet Hotel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the appearance and upkeep of our facility is maintained to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out assigned property repairs and modifications, cleaning duties, and grounds maintenance.
- Proactively identify and rectify issues to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our pets and staff.
- Work in consultation with the Hotel Facility Manager to plan projects that benefit the appearance and growth of the facility.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
- Solid handyman skills and experience in property, facility, or grounds maintenance.
- Landscaping and gardening skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in an environment that houses dogs and cats.
