Job Summary

As a Delivery Manager - Telecom, you will be responsible for leading and managing the successful delivery of telecommunications projects within Capgemini Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end delivery of telecom projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Oversee project planning, including resource allocation, scheduling, risk management, and budget control.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Industry Expertise: Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in telecom delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Communication and Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and other key parties.
  • Change Management: Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and client expectations effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in project or delivery management, with a strong focus on the telecommunications industry.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proven track record of successfully delivering complex telecom projects on time and within budget. In-depth knowledge of telecom technologies, infrastructure, and industry trends. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels. Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Experience with financial management, including budget forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
