**Religious Education Teacher Opportunity**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education Teacher to join our team at Corpus Christi Catholic High School. As a temporary full-time replacement, you will be responsible for teaching Religious Education and supporting the growth of our students in faith and learning.

**Essential Selection Criteria**

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
  • Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
  • Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
  • Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in Religious Education.
  • Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
  • Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the wider school community.

**General Capabilities**

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

**Qualifications**

  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area(s).
  • Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
  • The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.

**Working with Children Clearance**

This role is classified as child-related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
