Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education Teacher to join our team at Corpus Christi Catholic High School.

About the Role

This is a temporary full-time position commencing 26 August 2024 until 20 December 2024, with a possibility of extension. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Religious Education and supporting the growth of students in their faith and learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies in Religious Education.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L).
  • Apply knowledge of diverse student needs to support their full participation in learning.
  • Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
  • Demonstrate commitment to engaging professionally with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Requirements
  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching Religious Education.
  • Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
  • Registration to teach with NESA.
Working with Children Clearance

This role is classified as child-related work and requires a Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to employment with CEDoW.
