Job Description

We are seeking a skilled clinician to join our multidisciplinary team in providing specialized support to women during pregnancy and early parenting.

As part of the Substance Use In Pregnancy And Parenting Service (SUPPS), you will work collaboratively with a healthcare team to provide holistic, family-centred care that addresses the complex needs of clients.

Our ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise in working with families affected by substance use and have a compassionate, non-judgemental approach.

  • Provide assessments, counselling, and coordinate care for clients;
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans;
  • Build trust and support clients through complex challenges;
  • Apply trauma-informed practice frameworks to ensure client-centered care;
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Clinical expertise in working with families affected by substance use;
  • Empathy and a compassionate, non-judgemental approach;
  • Skills in building trust and supporting clients through complex challenges;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work with extensive clinical experience;
  • Membership or eligibility with the Australian Association Social Workers (AASW);
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW and willingness to travel for work purposes;
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
