Insurance Risk Management Specialist

Job Summary:

  • Deliver a profitable underwriting service to clients by accurately assessing and managing risk.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure profitability and minimize potential losses.
  • Provide expert advice on insurance and risk management matters to clients, including identification of potential risks and development of mitigation plans.
  • Maintain awareness of claims and support the settlement process to ensure timely and fair resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine reinsurance for risk placements and support business planning, forecasting, and financial exposure monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to exercise discretion and use judgment to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent marketing skills, including planning for sales and business development.
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Industry knowledge and understanding of specific product portfolios, with ability to stay up-to-date on market trends and developments.
