Imaging Specialist Position

This role involves working in a dynamic medical imaging department, specializing in MRI and CT scanning. As an Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing scans with autonomy, demonstrating expertise and clinical judgment while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out complex modalities such as MRI and CT imaging with precision and accuracy.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to enhance quality improvement initiatives, radiation safety protocols, and continuous service enhancement.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care with sensitivity to individual needs and psychology, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to infection control and safety standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, support education and training, and contribute to evidence-based practice within the department.
Requirements:
  • Qualified & Licensed: Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) and current registration with relevant authorities.
  • Clinical Expertise: Significant experience in Medical Imaging, with strong knowledge and hands-on skills in CT and MRI modalities.
  • Collaborative & Independent: Able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, inspiring and motivating colleagues while contributing to shared departmental goals.
  • Professional Excellence: Committed to best practice, with proven ability in complex problem-solving, decision-making, and applying quality improvement principles.
  • Communication & Learning: High-level communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, strong computer literacy, and active engagement in continuing professional development.
