We are seeking a skilled Machine Programming Specialist to join our team at GFG-Alliance. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.

About the Role

As a Machine Programming Specialist, you will be responsible for generating CNC programs from drawings, plans or data files for processing equipment. Your duties will include:

  • Generating estimates and quotations for processed goods in line with pricing policy
  • Following up on quotations with customers within business guidelines
  • Engaging and assisting the sales team in fulfillment of customer processed steel requirements
  • Keying orders and data entry

You will work closely with Account Managers, Operations, and the Leadership team to develop all necessary machine programs and processing instructions for our processing machines. Strong planning and organisational skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills appropriate to all levels of the organization.

A successful candidate will have relevant work experience, preferably within the Steel Industry or related industry. Knowledge of SAP, Fast Cam, Peddimat, CRM systems, AutoCAD or similar highly regarded.
