Imaging Project Manager

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our medical imaging project management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

About the Role

This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex medical imaging projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will have expertise in optimizing project management processes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure efficient execution and timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate financial forecasts and manage resources effectively to achieve project goals.
  • Cultivate a high-performing team environment by promoting open communication, providing constructive feedback, and recognizing individual contributions.
Operational Planning and Oversight
  • Lead proactive operational planning by identifying future needs, risks, and opportunities that align with organizational objectives.
  • Translate strategic direction into actionable plans with measurable goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive workforce planning to ensure optimal project staffing, including talent acquisition, development, and retention.
  • Advocate for resources and solutions to enable the success of the functional area and its stakeholders.
Department Leadership and Organizational Alignment
  • Exemplify integrity and model behaviors that reflect the organization's values and mission.
  • Foster a culture of respect, inclusion, accountability, and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Champion a diverse and supportive work environment that promotes creativity, innovation, and growth.
  • Represent the imaging project management function as a senior leader in client meetings and business development engagements.
Project and Product Leadership
  • Provide strategic oversight and direct involvement in imaging project development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with sponsors and functional directors to negotiate scope and allocate resources effectively.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant solutions and maintain information and data confidentiality throughout the project lifecycle.
Financial Strategy and Risk Management
  • Partner with medical imaging leadership to lead strategic budget planning and advocacy.
  • Oversee the development and application of tools and methodologies to track and manage project and departmental financial metrics.
  • Identify risk and ensure regulatory and contractual compliance to minimize potential liabilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, healthcare management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the medical imaging industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results, meeting deadlines, and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
