Early Years Education Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Early Years Education Manager to join our team. As Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of our kindergartens, mentoring and coaching teaching teams, and providing high-quality programs of education and care based on observations, feedback from parents, and the inclusion of the broader community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kindergartens, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
  2. Mentor and coach teaching teams to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  3. Develop and implement high-quality programs of education and care that cater to the needs and interests of children aged 3-6 years.
  4. Collaborate with families, children, community stakeholders, and networks to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
  5. Monitor quality and compliance, adhering to organisational policies and procedures, and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to work in a cohesive team environment, promoting collaboration and effective communication.
  • Comprehensive understanding of child development (3-6 years old), with expertise in early childhood education and care principles.
  • Experience in working in partnership with other services and agencies, fostering strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Demonstrate personal values aligned with our organisation's mission and values.
  • Proven skill and experience in working in an early education and care setting, with a focus on leadership, management, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Sound knowledge of early childhood legislation, policy, reforms, and frameworks, including QIP, compliance, and SRF requirements.
  • Positive mindset, problem-solving skills, good communication, conflict resolution, and innovation.
