The Operations Support Officer plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of our institution.
This role provides critical support across various areas, including health and safety compliance, facility management, and project coordination. Working closely with team leaders, you will provide essential support to ensure smooth operational outcomes.
- Contribute to effective facility management through provision of compliance support to maintain health and safety records and equipment service records.
- Undertake financial transactions using institutional finance systems.
- Maintain and manage contact lists and assist with updates to SharePoint sites.
- Keep health and safety compliance records up to date.
- Assist in preparing reports and correspondence.
- Help monitor budgets and assist in compliance monitoring and project support.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual who can provide high-quality support across various areas of operations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- An associate diploma level qualification with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant skills and experience.
- Experience in facility environments and familiarity with lab equipment and maintenance support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint content management.

Benefits
This is a part-time (60%) position based at Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As we are a multi-campus institution, you may be required to work across other campus locations.
The full-time equivalent base salary range is $73,623 - $77,680 per annum + 17% superannuation.
