Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and professional Events Coordinator to join our team at Oaks Port Douglas Resort.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events from conception to completion. This includes coordinating with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure every detail is executed flawlessly.

About the Role
  • Event Planning: Plan and manage events, including logistics, vendor selection, and budgeting.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Timeline Management: Develop and manage event timelines, checklists, and budgets.
  • On-Site Execution: Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring everything runs according to plan.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Handle post-event evaluations and feedback to improve future events.

Average Salary: AU$50,000 - AU$65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in event planning or coordination.
  • Qualifications: RSA qualification required.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, impeccable presentation, excellent communication skills, and reliability.
