Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Oncologist to join our team at Highcroft Veterinary Referrals. As a key member of our oncology department, you will be responsible for providing expert care to our patients with cancer, working closely with our medical and surgical teams to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with cancer, utilizing advanced imaging and diagnostic techniques
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery
  • Collaborate with our medical and surgical teams to provide comprehensive care to patients with cancer
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in veterinary oncology, participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of our oncology department, including mentoring junior staff and participating in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
  • Board certification in veterinary oncology or equivalent experience
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in veterinary oncology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
