Veterinary Anaesthetist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Anaesthetist to join our team at the Melbourne Veterinary School. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching and supervising final year veterinary students in workplace-integrated anaesthesia clinical rotations in the small animal hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and supervising final year veterinary students in anaesthesia clinical rotations
• Providing service clinical work in small animal anaesthesia in the Greencross Veterinary Hospital
• Engaging in teaching activities in other areas of the school, including clinical skills, animal handling, and communications

Requirements:

• Eligibility for general registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of Victoria, Australia
• Board certification (or eligibility) preferred, but experienced candidates with formal training or significant work experience in veterinary anaesthesia will be considered
