Job Description

The Senior Study Development Manager plays a pivotal role in planning and controlling the execution of large multidisciplinary projects. The successful candidate will lead work in accordance with project requirements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with contract technical and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the identification, positioning, and planning for future study opportunities.
  • Lead the preparation of high-quality, multidisciplinary proposals and coordinate the submission of tender documents.
  • Lead negotiations to finalize and execute contracts.
  • Coordinate the setup of work packages, systems, routines, and controls to facilitate study execution.
  • Ensure the allocation and availability of technical personnel to complete required tasks.
  • Manage interfaces across technical disciplines and business units.
  • Track and report study progress against schedule and budget.
  • Manage project trends and lead change management processes.
  • Coordinate the preparation, review, and issue of study deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant tertiary education (Geoscience, Engineering, Mining, Environment, Chemistry, Business, or related).
  • Certificate or similar accreditation in project management and delivery.
  • Proven industry experience, preferably in study management.
  • Demonstrated ability to think independently and challenge norms.
  • Established profile within industry associations.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work virtually and face-to-face within a team environment.
