We are a Protestant, non-denominational Christian education organisation dedicated to developing each student spiritually, academically, socially and physically.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and committed Christian teacher who desires to inspire our student community. The ideal candidate will have high expectations for what students are capable of, both academically and behaviourally, and be committed to improving student academic outcomes.

  • Create and implement engaging teaching programs that cater to the diverse needs of all students;
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise and pedagogical best practices to ensure student success;
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment in accordance with child safety standards;
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance teaching skills;
  • Teach advanced courses to senior year levels;
  • Monitor and record student attendance and progress;
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies consistent with our school's strategic plan;
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;

This full-time position is available starting January 2025. You will be part of a dynamic Christian community, with opportunities to contribute to the growth and development of our school.

Requirements:
  • Evidence of eligibility to work in Australia;
  • Proof of identity;
  • Recognised teaching qualification;
  • Clearance status of the Working with Children Check (where applicable);
  • Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT);
  • Documentation of previous experience working with children;
  • References from previous roles;

You will be a committed Christian, comfortable sharing your faith, and possess excellent organisational skills. Experience in Years 10-12 is preferred.
