Job Title: Chief Data Excellence OfficerAbout the Role

This senior role involves proactively engaging with stakeholders to monitor data quality, provide strategic advice and implement solutions to continuously improve the accuracy, timeliness, validity, relevance, reliability and completeness of patient level data in clinical information systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyse and trend data to report on key areas of concern and take action to enhance data quality.
  • Implement actionable solutions to address data quality issues and ensure compliance with business rules, standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality data assets.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of data quality principles and their application to patient care, health service funding and compliance.
  • High-level experience in using technology to facilitate monitoring, reporting, analysis and improvement of data quality.
  • Strong interpersonal, education and communication skills, including negotiation and influence.
