Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical department in a full-time or part-time capacity. As a Registered Nurse (Surgical), you will be responsible for delivering safe, research-based standards of nursing care, supervising and directing nursing team members, and working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Supervise and direct nursing team members to ensure effective patient care
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient care
- Act as a role model for safe practice and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute surgical environment
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Post-graduate certificate or working towards in a relevant specialty
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work in a high-functioning team
