We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Professional to join our team as a Village Manager at our over 55's Independent Living Retirement Village. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Village, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a Welcoming Environment: Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere throughout the Village, promoting activities and functions that foster social interaction and community engagement.
  • Oversee Village Operations: Ensure the smooth running of the Village, including the management of staff and resources, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
  • Support Resident Well-being: Provide emotional and social support to residents, responding to their needs and concerns, and collaborating with families and healthcare professionals as required.
  • Manage Staff and Resources: Supervise and manage a team of staff, including casual and full-time employees, to ensure effective delivery of services and maintenance of Village facilities.
  • Communicate Effectively: Liaise with the Village Owners Corporation, Residents Committee, and company General Manager to ensure alignment and cooperation on matters affecting the Village and its residents.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Aged Care, preferably in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Current First Aid certificate and Certificate III in Aged Care.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work unsupervised, and think creatively to promote resident engagement and well-being.
  • Personal Qualities: Easy-going, nurturing nature, and a professional and friendly demeanor.
