Job Title: Automation Expert Leader

Job Description:

  • To oversee the entire verification lifecycle, including estimation, planning, and tracking of automated verification activities.
  • Responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and approving software requirements.
  • Define, communicate, and execute the verification strategy.
  • Champion automated test infrastructure to facilitate implementation of automated verification strategies.
  • Creation, review, and approval of automated verification test cases.
  • Facilitating and maintaining the automation of verification test suites/cases.
  • Definition and establishment of appropriate verification environment(s) and supporting tool infrastructure.
  • Execution of automated verification, and the capture of appropriate result evidence.
  • Defect management, triage, reporting, and resolution.
  • Documentation, analysis, and stakeholder reporting of verification activities.
  • Validation of automation tools and frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Certificate degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), or equivalent is a plus.

Experience: Competently able to demonstrate best practice implementation of automation frameworks, tools, and techniques. Prior experience performing verification activities using test automation on medium to large projects or programs.

Skills: Demonstratable experience of software coding (specifically .NET, C#, and Python), coding patterns, and standards. In-depth knowledge and previous experience with software build tools and scripting (e.g., Team City, Bamboo, Jenkins, BitBucket, GitHub, Ansible, or Terraform).
