Job Title: Clinical Mental Health Specialist

About the Role

The Clinical Mental Health Specialist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive mental health services to clients across the lifespan. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of client needs and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Providing direct care to clients, including psychotherapy, medication management, and education
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Evaluating treatment effectiveness and making adjustments as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
  • A qualification in mental health practice (postgraduate degree or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of post-registration experience in acute and/or child and adolescent mental health settings
