About the RoleThe Clinical Mental Health Specialist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive mental health services to clients across the lifespan. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of client needs and developing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct care to clients, including psychotherapy, medication management, and education
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Evaluating treatment effectiveness and making adjustments as needed
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
- A qualification in mental health practice (postgraduate degree or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of post-registration experience in acute and/or child and adolescent mental health settings
