Learning Support Assistant Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to provide academic support to students with diverse learning needs.

  • Assist students in their classes
  • Deliver one-on-one instruction using literacy and numeracy programs under the guidance of a teacher
  • Supervise students during exams
  • Act as a reader, writer and/or support person for students during assessments and exams
About You

Applicants should possess an understanding of the educational, social and emotional needs of students with diverse learning needs.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient IT skills including competency in the use of learning technologies
