Electrical Maintenance Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance of electrical systems across all site buildings, services, and production areas.

This role involves working on complex manufacturing machinery, understanding Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and programming and repairing electrical systems. The successful candidate will lead and manage the Electrical Team, actively improving team performance to meet production and quality demands.

  • Lead and manage the Electrical Team to ensure optimal performance
  • Maintain good industrial relations on site by resolving site issues through personal involvement
  • Actively participate in improvement programs to enhance team performance
  • Engage with external suppliers of parts and equipment to ensure timely deliveries
  • Manage repair and maintenance costs to optimize resource utilization
  • Allocate work to team members to ensure shift production meets targets

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of time-sensitive FMCG environments, experience with PLC programming, and a proven track record in Health and Safety. A Grade electrical license is mandatory, and experience in related industries, such as Vision Inspection systems, Lean production management, and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) maintenance planning, is highly regarded.

Key responsibilities include allocating work to team members, ensuring timely corrections to equipment, and maintaining electrical Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules. The Electrical Maintenance Coordinator will also attend daily operational meetings and perform other tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Grade electrical License
  • Experience in PLC programming
  • Proven track record in Health and Safety
  • Exposure to FMCG

Desirable qualifications include experience in related industries, such as instrumentation and electronics, CMMS maintenance management, and forklift licenses. Experience in ISO manufacturing environments is also highly valued.
