We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant.

About The Position

This role involves delivering quality in-home care supporting our customers to maintain well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible.

A typical day assisting our customers to live their best lives may include:

  • Providing domestic assistance/basic home cleaning and tidying
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Accompanying customers on shopping/client appointments
  • Providing respite care
  • Preparing meals
  • Offering social support and community engagement

Hours are generally Monday to Friday between 7am –7pm and can include weekends and public holidays as required.

About You
  • You must be willing to participate in domestic duties
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships are essential
  • A current National Police Check is required
  • You must hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate or be willing to obtain one
  • A valid Full Comprehensive Car Insurance policy is also required
  • A Smart Phone is necessary
  • A Current Driver's Licence is essential
