Aboriginal And Torres Strait Islander Health Advocate Specialist

This is a dynamic role for an experienced and compassionate Advanced Health Worker to join our Cultural Assessment and Liaison Team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver culturally sensitive care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
The position requires the ability to provide cultural guidance, advocacy, and support to clients accessing mental health services, as well as engage with local communities to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma around mental illness.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in relevant health fields
- Blue Card and Class C Driver's Licence
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
