Job Overview:

The Assistant Facility Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring the production and distribution of high-quality fibreglass swimming pools across Queensland, Northern NSW, and to export customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish a safety-first culture within the facility
  • Oversee the facility team and their activities to maintain optimal performance
  • Recruit and onboard new employees, fostering a positive work environment
  • Enhance quality, effectiveness, and efficiency through thorough investigation, analysis, and problem-solving
  • Promote collaboration with the facility manager and national managers to implement initiatives for safety, quality, and cost improvement
  • Nurture relationships with franchisees to manage pool deliveries efficiently
Key Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience in team leadership and management
  • A background in a manufacturing environment
  • Exceptional communication and delegation skills
  • Personal effectiveness/interaction – Self-manages and demonstrates diplomacy when dealing with difficult individuals or colleagues from diverse cultures
