Clinical Nurse Specialist

This is a full-time position in our Day Infusion Unit, where you will focus on patient-centered care, possess strong mentoring and staff development skills, be driven for results, effective in VMO engagement, and pivotal to daily organisation of ward patient flow.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Adhering to national standards and hospital policy and procedure
  • Providing evidence-based nursing care
  • Providing clinical expertise and depth to the Oncology team
  • Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety

The Day Infusion Unit offers a private cancer service located in Norwest Private Hospital. The centre provides day therapy, chemotherapy, and intravenous infusions for patients with cancer and other chronic diseases and disorders. You will be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality clinical care and support to our patients during a challenging time in their lives.

Nursing Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • National Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing
  • Post-graduate qualification in Clinical Nurse Specialist or relevant field
  • Experience working in an infusion unit or oncology setting
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills
