Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Governance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for administering processes to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

You will work closely with the board and management to promote efficiency and collaboration. Your duties will include maintaining charters, policies, and corporate records, ensuring adherence to ASIC, APRA, and other legal requirements.

You will manage the daily activities related to Director Elections, the Annual General Meeting, and annual reporting, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

You will oversee the coordination of Board and Board Committee meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience in delivering company secretarial and governance duties
  • Experience in team management and/or mentoring
  • Knowledge of ASIC, APRA, ACNC and other regulatory and legal requirements an advantage
  • Experience with attending Board and Board Committee meetings and preparation of high quality minutes
  • Qualifications from the Governance Institute of Australia
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
