Hardware Transition Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Transition Lead to oversee the seamless integration of new hardware and technology solutions into our public transport network.

The successful candidate will develop and execute comprehensive transition plans, aligning with overall business objectives and ensuring timely delivery within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Transition Planning:
    • Develop strategic transition plans for large-scale hardware roll-outs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles, meeting milestones within scope, budget, and timeline.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for effective project execution.
  • Change Management:
    • Inform change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions for staff.
    • Identify and proactively address potential roadblocks and resistance to change.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Engage key stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
    • Communicate project updates, risks, and successes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess potential risks associated with the transition process.
    • Develop mitigation plans to address identified risks and ensure minimal disruption.
  • Documentation:
    • Create comprehensive documentation related to the transition process.
    • Develop post-implementation reports and conduct lessons learned sessions.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in managing large-scale hardware and technology roll-out programs.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with change management principles.

Ability to navigate and lead through ambiguity.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
