Job Description

The role of Intermediate Accountant plays a pivotal part in driving growth and expansion within an organization. As an integral member of the team, you will be mentored by experienced professionals to develop into leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely completion of client projects.
  • Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for various clients.
  • Deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations, and liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients and participate in training seminars, team meetings, and social events.
  • Support junior team members and offer guidance as needed.
About You
  • Hold a Chartered Accountant qualification or be in progress.
  • Possess 2+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
  • Be proficient in accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Show commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients and proactively approach work challenges.
