Key Responsibilities:

  1. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling significant quantities of invoicing for a range of complex ICT services.
  2. The successful applicant will assist in providing ongoing advice in relation to the cost recovery of ICT services.
  3. The candidate will help drive the development, maintenance and implementation of financial policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of services and business improvement activities.
  4. The role involves assisting with driving improved financial literacy through coaching and training staff.

Qualifications and Requirements

">
  • ACT Government CMTEDD Baseline clearance is required.
  • A degree with a major in accounting, business informatics, finance, data science, statistics or mathematics is desirable but not essential.
  • CAANZ or CPA Australia membership is also desirable but not essential.
  • Two years of relevant experience in an accounting or data analytics environment is desirable.

  • This is a temporary position available immediately until 31 December 2025 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
  • A merit pool may be established from this selection process and used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
  • Opportunities for flexible working options include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start and finish times.
