Job Role: Mobile Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Mobile Service Technician. As a key member of our service delivery team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality field services to customers, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of equipment issues.

This role offers the opportunity to work independently, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and hydraulic systems. You will be expected to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately, and maintain a strong focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering consistent, accurate, and high-quality field services to customers
  • Providing solutions and building relationships with a varying range of customers
  • Traveling to sites within Ballarat and surrounding areas to complete new installation work or resolve breakdown situations
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to management

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A trade certificate in Fitting/Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Able to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately
  • Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
  • Flexibility with working hours and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
