Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain plumbing systems and equipment for assigned projects.
  • Assemble pipe sections, tubings, and fittings using various methods.
  • Inspect pipes or plumbing fixtures with water/air and check pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
  • Review blueprints and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
  • Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, penetrations, and fixtures in structures using measuring instruments.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand power tools or machines.
  • Participate in our safety culture and complete daily related safety tasks morning huddles, equipment inspections.
  • Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings using hand and power tools.
  • Hang steel supports from ceiling joists to hold pipes in place.
  • Repair plumbing, replace defective washers, mend broken pipes, and open clogged drains.
  • Install underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems.
  • Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify errors, safety hazards, or other issues, and propose solutions or escalate them appropriately.

Applicants should possess:

  • 0-4 years of mechanical contracting experience.
  • General knowledge of HVAC systems.
  • Ability to take instruction.
  • Understanding of stop-work orders.
  • Capacity to facilitate teamwork and collaborative relationships.
  • Willingness and ability to work nights and overtime on an as-needed basis.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Driving record compliant with company policies and MVR requirements, and consent to ongoing driving record monitoring by the company.
