Job Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable, safety-minded and responsible animal care professional to join our team. As an animal care provider, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch care for dogs, cats and small animals in the comfort of their own homes or on exciting adventures with you.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with animals, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. You will need to be trustworthy, flexible and able to travel to various locations throughout the week and weekend.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Dog Walking: 30 to 60 minute dog walks in the dog's neighbourhood, the beach or the park. Up to two dogs maximum.
  • Pet Sitting: Daily 30 to 60 minute visits to the client's homes to care for their dogs, cats or small animals.
  • House Sitting - Overnight stays in client's homes for one or multiple nights. This is a must and something you must be comfortable doing.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Hold a valid ABN and Police check
  • Have Public Liability Insurance (we can suggest some providers)
  • Be a safe and responsible driver with access to your own vehicle
  • Have a mobile phone and data plan
  • Have previous experience working with animals and animal behaviour/handling knowledge
  • Be certified in Pet First Aid (can be completed in your first week of work with us)
