Emergency Department Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of strategies to maximize cost-effectiveness and efficiency in the discharge process.
In this role, you will work closely with our experienced and dedicated clinical team to create a welcoming, professional, and supportive care experience for our patients. You will provide effective and timely admission/discharge processes and case management of patients, particularly those with an extended length of stay.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in a relevant specialty and possess excellent communication skills at all levels. You will also have a strong understanding of contemporary infection control standards and practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential.
- Demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices.
- Ability to participate in quality improvement activities.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a relevant specialty.
