About the Role

As a key member of the Strategy and Corporate Development team, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the full remit of corporate development activities, including M&A, strategic partnerships, product development, and key customer negotiations.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models and analysis to calculate impact on value, cash flow, and returns.
  • Conducting comprehensive due diligence, including financial, operational, and strategic assessments of target companies.
  • Supporting the negotiation and structuring of transactions, including preparing and reviewing transaction documents, term sheets, and other key materials.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior management and the board.
  • Performing in-depth research and analysis covering market trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, operations, and senior management, to drive transaction processes and support post-merger integration efforts.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in financial modelling, business valuation, transactions, and corporate development activities.
  • A strong grasp of financial concepts, including discounted cash flow valuation and internal rate of return analysis.
  • Prior experience in supporting M&A and corporate development activities, preferably in an investment bank, advisory, or in-house corporate development team.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to digest complex matters and provide timely and succinct analysis.
  • The ability to work at pace to deliver results and to work autonomously.
