Magnus Recruitment Solutions is a leading recruitment agency for the education and training sector. Our client is a Registered Training Organisation focused on developing career paths for individuals currently working in, entering, or considering employment in the relevant industry.

They are seeking a trainer and assessor with the following qualification:

- Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security)

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to students and assessing their competence against set standards.

  • Delivering training sessions to students;
  • Assessing student competency;
  • Providing feedback to students;
  • Developing and maintaining training materials;

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cyber Security, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training to students;
  • Assess student competency;
  • Provide constructive feedback to students;
  • Develop and maintain training materials;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals;

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security) or equivalent tertiary qualifications;
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110);
  • Relevant industry experience;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Previous VET training experience with international students;

Desirable:

  • Training and Assessment Certificate (preferably at a higher level);
  • Experience working in a Registered Training Organisation;
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation;
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs;
  • Previous experience with educational software and technology;< /li>
