Job Title: Career Development Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Career Development Specialist to support individuals with injuries in their return to work. The ideal candidate will have strong recruitment and career development skills, excellent communication abilities, and a drive to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with injuries in their return to work through effective recruitment and career development strategies.
  • Build relationships with employers and organizations to generate suitable vacancies for clients.
  • Engage with the local community to identify employment opportunities that meet client needs.
  • Market subsidised programs to incentivise employers to consider our clients for employment.
  • Meet face-to-face with clients to build their confidence and independence in job-seeking skills.
  • Liaise with hiring managers on behalf of clients to facilitate successful placements.
  • Assist clients in addressing key selection criteria and preparing them for interviews.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to help clients find gainful and durable employment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mandatory: Minimum 12 months experience in a Workplace Rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Honesty, integrity, team attitude, and positive approach.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (professional fluency).
  • A professional network within your local area is highly regarded.
  • Unrestricted driver's licence (own vehicle required).
