This role provides functional and technical advice and support to managers, employees, contractors, and other parties, focusing on continuous improvement in Health and Safety performance.

  • Promoting and providing guidance aligned with corporate strategy
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation to Health & Safety matters across all projects
  • Providing functional and technical advice to stakeholders
  • Advocating participation in the Group Harmonisation process and managing implementation to projects
  • Managing site Health and Safety data accuracy and integrity in systems
  • Participating in investigations and providing technical mentoring and coaching for incident management
  • Ensuring site safety training packages and inductions meet required standards
  • Liaising with parties to ensure statutory and regulatory Health and Safety compliance
Key Responsibilities:

This role requires:

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety, coupled with experience in a similar role in the resources sector
  • Excellent leadership experience and skills in advising, mentoring, and coaching diverse stakeholder groups
  • An ability to implement strategic plans and lead teams
  • Strong communication skills, including facilitating groups and presenting information
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Significant experience in incident investigation
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable legislation
  • Auditing experience
