Are you ready for a challenging and rewarding role in the field of infrastructure project management?

We are seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to lead the delivery of multiple remote and rural projects, overseeing subcontractors while ensuring safety on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate and manage the installation of optic fibre cables on private properties in rural areas, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
  • To supervise multiple contractors daily, ensuring work aligns with project specifications and safety standards.
  • To coordinate team activities to meet project milestones, prioritising tasks and liaising with internal stakeholders.
  • To conduct compliance checks to ensure fibre installations meet technical and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in Telstra major works, particularly with optic fibre ploughing, Inter Exchange Network (IEN) builds, and Blackspot fibre projects.
  • Supervisory experience managing field teams and subcontractors in large scale civil infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to effectively engage and negotiate with stakeholders, remote property owners, and subcontractors.
  • Strong computer literacy, including basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant tools for reporting and documentation.
