As a key member of the City's infrastructure team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing plans, programs, and strategies to ensure the assets are environmentally and financially sustainable and meet the needs of the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement asset management plans to ensure the City's electrical and lighting assets are maintained, renewed, and expanded in a sustainable and cost-effective manner.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to stakeholders on electrical and lighting asset management, including the development of technical briefs and contract management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the City's electrical and lighting assets are integrated with other infrastructure systems and meet the needs of the community.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including consultants and service providers, to ensure the City's electrical and lighting assets are managed effectively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure the successful delivery of electrical and lighting asset management projects.
Requirements
  • Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the asset management of electrical and lighting assets in the public domain.
  • Highly developed leadership skills, oral and written communication skills, and ability to develop and maintain good relationships with clients, stakeholders, and service providers.
  • Subject matter expertise in public lighting.
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially in regard to data integration.
