Our goal is to create a sustainable future by developing innovative transportation solutions. We are seeking an Indirect Buyer to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

This role involves overseeing the supplier selection process, deploying commodities strategies, and leading supplier panel relationships. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and launching requests for quotation with suppliers, focusing on detailed cost breakdowns.
  • Negotiating project terms, including price, contracts, and scope of works.
  • Ensuring timely delivery and quality, especially during project ramp-up phases.
  • Developing country commodity strategies and managing supplier panels.
  • Evaluating supplier performance and collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop their skills.
  • Resolving invoices disputes or payment issues with suppliers.
  • Supporting digital transformations in procure-to-pay processes.

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in logistics operations, transportation, and supply chain management. A degree in engineering or supply chain management is also required. Additionally, candidates should have expertise in analyzing and negotiating supplier terms and conditions.

A desirable skillset includes experience with SAP ARIBA systems. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working towards a low-carbon future.
