This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Leading Hand to join our team at the Yilgarn Mine. As part of our mobile maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a group of skilled tradespeople who perform routine servicing, repair, and maintenance of heavy mobile mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled tradespeople in performing routine servicing, repair, and maintenance of heavy mobile mining equipment
  • Manage performance, planning, and ensure work health and safety policies are adhered to
  • Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of equipment as directed in accordance with Thiess servicing, lubrication, and maintenance systems documentation
  • Source technical information from relevant reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems
  • Provide technical information to staff and operations personnel
  • Source and requisition parts and/or equipment requirements through appropriate manuals or publications using correct ordering procedures
  • Verify the implementation of solutions and/or control further non-conforming machinery until deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
