Role Summary

The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing machinery, products, and mechanical systems. This role requires the ability to create detailed technical drawings and models using Computer-Aided Design software (Autodesk Inventor).

As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be involved in project specifications, conducting simulations and tests to validate designs, troubleshooting and improving existing designs to enhance performance and efficiency.

This is a full-time on-site role located in Brisbane City, QLD, requiring a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset along with excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop machinery, products, and mechanical systems.
  • Create detailed technical drawings and models using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Conduct simulations and tests to validate designs.
  • Troubleshoot and improve existing designs to enhance performance and efficiency.
Requirements:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering professional with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Relevant industry experience is a plus.
